In addition to the lessons, the iDSP offers a number of projects. Thus children and teenagers are taught to actively participate in the design of a project, to follow one another’s train of thought and carry plans through. They can learn from and with each other outside the lessons and thereby bring in their own experiences.
At the iDSP there are projects that serve charitable purposes, others promote social skills or the creativity of students. Projects may be organised within a class or be multi-class projects and be limited in time or have no time limit set.
All school projects have one thing in common: they are about more than just a transfer of knowledge, as planned and practice-oriented action promotes commitment, self-organisation and responsibility in our pupils.
