The German-French school of music

The Franco-German school of music (EMFA) at the iDSP was founded in 1998 and has the motto « music without borders ».
On the premises of the iDSP, in the adjoining music centre, the EMFA opens its doors to music enthusiasts of all nationalities and ages.

No age limits:

Here, all are welcome – from young children in the early musical education classes to the organ enthusiast seniors.

No language limits:

Classes may be given both in German or French, and in some categories in English, Spanish and Japanese.

No limits in level:

Whether beginner or advanced, children or adult students – everyone is encouraged according to their talents and assets.

No lack of contact:

In addition to the individual tuition in the selected music instrument, we offer the possibility to play with others in ensembles, to play in front of others in student recitals, to visit the Opéra Bastille and go on musical walks through Paris.

The only limit is in the choice of an instrument:

Piano, jazz piano, violin, viola, cello, saxophone, trumpet, trombone, electric guitar, guitar, recorder, flute, clarinet, harmonica, accordion, organ.

Tango course

We satisfy your desire for movement with the Tango courses and your wish to sing with others with the “open singing” on different occasions.
