Our kindergarten is located in a lovely and charming villa called:

“Villa  Kunterbunt”.

dsc_0033villa550pxlThe Villa Kunterbunt, which is in the immediate vicinity of the school building, is surrounded by large outdoor grounds. These hold challenging obstacles (walls, big stones, tree-trunks,…) and differences in altitude through mounds of earth and inclined levels. Big sandy areas inspire the children to build and dig. A hard court invites them to cycle, ride the tricycles or drive the go-carts.

There are many opportunities for “Learning by Moving” in our surroundings.

The garden is greatly used, and not only when the sun is shinning!

The outdoor grounds also have a henhouse. Three hens named Lilli, Liese and Lotte lay their biological eggs there.

There are three mixed-age groups in the Villa Kunterbunt. Up to 62 children from age three until their entrance to school are looked after by experienced German and French educators. Each room is divided into small separate areas which the children can use for interaction, manual and cognitive work, for building as well as “reading” and eating.

Swimming in the school´s swimming-pool, woodwork in our workroom, the kindergarten´s own library, the gymnastic- and  “dream”-lessons in our own, well equipped gymnasium, as well as the language and preschool-room add to the attractive offer and are a permanent component of our weekly programme.

Our kindergarten is furnished in a comfortable way and suitably for children. The ample space allows each child to develop its personality and experience as much as possible. An important part of personla development is the free play time, to which we attach great significance.
